Shipping Policy
Processing Time All Rack Theory racks are built to order. Orders typically ship within one week of purchase. Rack Theory is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to material supply shortages, manufacturing delays, carrier disruptions, weather events, or other force majeure conditions. If your order is expected to exceed the standard processing window, we will notify you by email. Estimated processing and delivery times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Method Racks ship flat-packed via major ground shipping carriers. Freight shipping is available upon customer request; customers must contact hello@racktheory.com prior to placing an order to arrange freight delivery and confirm applicable terms. Rack Theory reserves the right to select the carrier and shipping method at its discretion unless freight or an alternate method has been specifically arranged in advance.
Shipping Rates For standard shipping within the contiguous United States: orders under $200 ship for a flat rate of $25.99, and orders of $200 or more ship free. Rates for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international shipments are quoted separately based on destination and are arranged directly with our team. Rack Theory reserves the right to modify shipping rates at any time without prior notice; the rate charged at checkout or quoted directly is final.
Shipping Area Rack Theory ships to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) as standard. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international destinations is available upon customer request — contact hello@racktheory.com prior to placing your order to arrange shipping and confirm rates, as these are quoted on a case-by-case basis and are not covered by the standard shipping rates above.
Address Accuracy Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate, complete shipping information at checkout. Rack Theory is not responsible for orders delayed, misdelivered, or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges incurred due to address corrections, re-shipment, or returned packages are the customer's responsibility.
Risk of Loss & Title Title and risk of loss for all products pass to the customer upon delivery of the product to the carrier. Rack Theory's responsibility for a shipment ends once it is tendered to the carrier; however, we will assist customers with carrier claims for items lost or damaged in transit, per the process below.
Damaged, Missing, or Defective Items Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery. Any damage, missing components, or defects must be reported to hello@racktheory.com within 2 days of delivery, with photos of the damage, packaging, and shipping label included. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for replacement or repair at Rack Theory's discretion. Rack Theory's sole obligation for damaged or defective items, at its discretion, is repair, replacement of the affected component, or store credit — Rack Theory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays or damage.
Order Tracking Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update. Rack Theory is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once a package has been tendered for shipment.
Policy Changes Rack Theory reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
