Do I need a thermostat?
Yes. Heat tape without a thermostat is a fire and safety hazard. A thermostat is required and not included. A proportional thermostat like the Herpstat or Vivarium Electronics VE-300 is the standard recommendation.

What species is this rack designed for?
The Core 55-5 is built around the ARS 70-Series tub and is well-suited for adult ball pythons, larger colubrids, and similarly sized snakes. Use the Size Guide to confirm the right rack for your species.

What's the difference between Core and Glow?
